I've decided to start a new blog which is only written in chinese.

Don't worry, this blog is still around as the style of both blogs are different.

I have put the link on the left hand side of the page "HaPPieDayz"

Enjoy.

By the way, stay tuned for my Japan trip photos. :)

I am more than I know myself to be.

Had a bad day today.

I did my income tax e-filing smoothly with NO single hiccup.

I'm not oblige to help anyone.. if I help out, it's only out of goodwill.

I didn't approach anyone to help me, did I?

But in return, no appreciation yet I gotten reprimanded for filing last minute.

I wonder did they see me sleeping with my laptop doing my work halfway these few days...

How stressful was I these few days with my work..will they ever know?

Who cares if I die or not as long as they can survive.

One changed his password on his own & didn't inform me at all...causing the account being locked by the system. - My fault.

The other one didn't provide me the password which he already went into his account to look look only. So I guess he figured out that password is required to log in then why didn't he provide it to me? - My fault.

One scolded me for saying he provided me to school & I couldn't even accomplish such a simple task.
I told him, excuse me..I paid for my own allowance & school fees, he kept quiet.

The other one said if he has his insurance info, he won't beg me to do it. He went in to look already & if he really is sincere in doing it, he would have know that he doesn't need the insurance info if his CPF contribution is more than 5k.

All my fault.

I should have mind my own business.

I've learnt my lesson.

I care if I die or not, even if no one else cares.

“"If everybody minded their own business, the world would go round a deal faster than it does” ~ Lewis Carroll

The day before the Morale Event, I told my colleague that I shall bring my camera tomorrow.

I forgot all about it the next day.

I told her that no slipper allowed as we will be playing ice-breaking games.

I forgot about it too.

How serious my memory is failing.

On that day, we played a few ice-breaking games which we thought they were rather stressful! LOL

My Team mates + Manager @ work

My team mates @ work

We had our dinner at NUSS.

Food was just ok but scenery was nice.

Nevertheless, it somehow fulfilled its purpose of bringing the team together.

By the way, a piece of delayed good news.

Lucky is safely back home last week. ^^

Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.~ Henry Ford

It had been a busy month for me.

Busy working, studying, playing & preparing my brother's wedding.

Working life has becoming tiring for me..with the non stop emails flowing in & all the never-ending work to do.....

I'm seriously tired.

Sighz...

I went to watch 2 concerts within 2 months.

1st one was Lu Guang Zhong....

That's him!
The one in green.

That's him too!
The one in yellow.

2nd one was an award ceremony type of concert.

I was able to see so many of my idols...so happy!

He's my favourite...

As I was sitting quite far so it was difficult to take good shots.

Big News!!!

On 1st March, my big brother is finally married!

Happy couple

My pretty sister-in-law

Hand in hand, walking down the aisle

Sighz...

On the very same day, I lost my Lucky.

I wonder did anyone took him in...

I wonder how is he now..

I hope he won't become a stray dog...

Please let me know if you see him...

I miss him so much. T.T

Marriage is three parts love and seven parts forgiveness of sins. ~ Lao Tzu

Finally, my itinerary for my Japan trip is half done.

I didn't know planning a 10 days 9 nights trip required a lot of thinking like the travel route, accessibility of hotel to train stations, which area to stay for which day etc.

However, it was really fun to plan for my own trip!

Side-tracking....

Yesterday I had bought some books.

One of them is "Marley".

I didn't watch the movie and have not read the book yet but I guess it will be a sad dog story.

Gotta cry again *sobs

Doesn't Marley & my Lucky look alike?

80% look alike?

Maybe there's a slight difference.

Marley is fairer cos Marley is a Caucasian & Lucky is an asian, thus he's more tanned.

Maybe...

Another two books I bought are to hope that I will be able to improve & correct my English grammar mistakes that I have been making all my life.

Thanks to Singlish ~

So for the time being, pardon all my grammar mistakes.

I will work hard.

"A dog has no use for fancy cars or big homes or designer clothes. Status symbol means nothing to him. A waterlogged stick will do just fine. A dog judges others not by their color or creed or class but by who they are inside. A dog doesn't care if you are rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his. It was really quite simple, and yet we humans, so much wiser and more sophisticated, have always had trouble figuring out what really counts and what does not. As I wrote that farewell column to Marley, I realized it was all right there in front of us, if only we opened our eyes. Sometimes it took a dog with bad breath, worse manners, and pure intentions to help us see." ~ John Grogan

I was feeling tired and have been sick for almost one week so didn't do any update recently.

My cough is getting worse each day yet I refused to visit the doctor.

Stubborn me.

Since the shift in job scope around end Dec, I feel so tired after work everyday coz the new job scope is more complicated & is stressing my brain.

Argggh...Enough of the complaints!!!

Here's a quick update of my life in the beginning of 2009.

On 4th Jan, I went to see MayDay's concert.
The queue was soooo long & luckily we went there to queue early.

Hee hee I made onigiris again

There was so many people that day

Hee hee smiling happily coz we were in front of the queue

Saw the entrance behind? We were that near hee hee

The concert is starting....

Ding Dang, she was the guest appearance that day.

His name is Stone.

He's the lead singer of May Day

On 7th Jan, my buddy got married.

Yeah!!!!

Sincerely wish she has a blissful marriage. Be happy everyday!

Pretty bride & us!!

Nice sunset view

Lastly, one big piece of good news....

I'm so excited and have been planning my itinerary, reading guide book everyday.

Dearest Friends,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's 12.05am now!!!

Sending my wishes on the first moment of 2009!

A New Year, A New Start.

Time for my resolutions!!!

As usual,

1) Burn my fats!!!
I believe it can be fulfill this year cos I'm a True Fitness Gym member now! Haha

2) Find my Martian
A bit hard but I'm trying. Kinda feel that Cupid doesn't really like me.

I will do my best although it's stressful & tiring

That's all folks.

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day. ~ Edith Lovejoy Pierce

It's my last moment with 2008.

It's 10.18pm now so left about 1 hour & 42 mins to a brand new year.

Nothing really great happened on 2008.

The only happy occasion on 2008 is the birth of Baby Kai Kai.

What's over is over, I'll try to leave all those unhappiness at 2008.

No carrying forward !!!

Everything will start anew.

Gotta start thinking about my New Year's resolutions although I didn't really work hard enough to fulfill my past resolutions.

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE !!!

Last request in 2008.

Please pardon my last sigh for 2008....

Sigh.....It's blue....

Why do people have to go to work?

Who is that fellow who determined that we have to work?

Why isn't work 9 to 5 anymore?

Why is Singapore's working lifestyle becoming so stressful & tiring?

Why are we working so hard but at the end of the month we are still receiving the same amount?

SO...

Why are we working so hard for???

A better life?

So do we have enough time & energy to enjoy the "better life"?

I Don't.

Maybe it's only me who's leading a contradicting life.

Without work, all life goes rotten. But when work is soulless, life stifles and dies.~ Albert Camus

Last Monday I went to attend my friend's wedding at Sentosa.

I had a hard time finding the hotel & the staff at Sentosa were not professional enough to help me!

One of them showed me the wrong direction, causing me to walk a long way on heels!

Anyway, it was really nice to see my friend so happy on her big day.

Yesterday, we went for our first picnic at Singapore Botanic Garden.

I can still remember my dad used to bring us there often when we were young.

When I went back yesterday, the place was so different.

However, I can still remember the swan lake where there used to have a lot of swans.

Our food. They were all yummy!

My first attempt on the Onigiris

The tree that can be found on our five dollar note.

Our belated X'mas presents

It was really fun & the weather was so nice that we all felt like lying down to enjoy the moment.

We decided to have another one next time.

Today, Me & Karen went to queue up for our first May Day Concert's ticket!

The crowd was so scary & luckily Karen's friend (thanks to her!) went there to queue early in the morning.

Yes, you are right!

We cut queue! Ha ha ha ha

These people are only about 1/8 of the total crowd

Luckily we were inside the first 1/8 of the crowd

We saw tourist taking photos of us queuing but...

Please don't be mistaken!!!!

Singaporeans don't really enjoy queuing!!!

We were forced to queue & too bad we were the obedient ones.

After we got the tickets, we went for our lunch & after our lunch we saw the queue was still so long!!!

LUCKY US!!!

Of course life is bizarre, the more bizarre it gets, the more interesting it is. The only way to approach it is to make yourself some popcorn and enjoy the show.

We were having fun that day.

Never in our life, we made so many wishes in less than one hour.

It will be floating on Singapore River so spot it for us! ^^

Wishes for our fur babies
& wish for our buddy
Wishing that all our wishes will come true
This little Angel will make all our wishes come true
All wishes on Yu & Jing's Ball
It's ours, one & only in the whole universe
Lastly, wishing everyone an advanced MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
May all your wishes come true too!!!
My wish isn't to mean everything to everyone but something to someone.

Had met up with Simmies for sushi buffet.

It was considered cheap by comparing $2.29 per plate for ala carte menu.

I didn't take my dinner last night so that meal was considered as my last night's dinner, today's breakfast & lunch. Three meals taken together. Hee hee.

Anyway, after the bloated buffet, we went to shop around for X'mas presents.

It was very crowded in the mall, as usual for a Saturday.

Around evening, I headed towards ...... gym to burn the calories gained during the sushi buffet.

Haha... crazy huh?! My brother thought so too when I told him.

It was nice that the gym wasn't crowded on a Saturday evening & I even had the sauna room all by myself.

Temperature was 90 Degree Celsius. Almost cooked me but it was really great.

After the great workout, I went for a short shopping session alone.

Actually, shopping alone has its pros too & I kinda like it.

No doubt that I'm a lone ranger.

After doing some shopping, I headed to meet my family........ for dinner.

Haha.... A wasted gym session, I know.

But I managed to spot a cute Caucasian & a few hunks in the gym so consider not wasted right?

Oh my..... It's so hard to slim down.

It is ironic that we focus on weight loss, when the real challenge is weight maintenance. ~ James Hill

It's so sad to know there's such a bastard living in this world.

I hope he/she will get punish by going to Hell.

How could this person do such a cruel thing to the vulnerable cat?!!

How could this person cut open the stomach of this poor pregnant cat?!!!

How could this person bear to kill the mother cat & the unborn kittens?!!!

So many question marks in my head...

Why why why??!!!

It's just a cat!! How did it offend that person???

Curiosity killed the cat.... Curiosity was framed. Ignorance killed the cat.

Today is Singapore's public holiday.

Gonna start work tomorrow
but I didn't rest enough during this long weekend.

Instead my weekend was quite busy.

I was busy with friends whom I didn't catch up for quite some time, once-a-month facial, went to gym, spent time with my family & dogs, PSP-ing & most importantly, catching up with my beauty sleep.

Tomorrow will be a long day for me cos I know what's waiting for me.
The to-do list is sooooo long that i tried not to think about it when I was trying to enjoy my long weekend.

Anyway, four more days to Saturday. Hee hee... I love weekend!

The good news is that there will be quite a few public holiday that fall on Monday in 2009!

More long weekends. ^^ Yipppeeee!

WORLD PEACE!

I brought my work home but later on, I decided not to think about work during this weekend.

Therefore, I decided to catch up those movies which I wanted to watch but didn't.

I simply love movie marathon.

I spent my weekend watching......

"Journey to the center of the earth",

"Eight Below" (as usual, I always cry when watching dogs movie.... poor old Jack *sobs*) &

" The Shaggy Dog" (However, I didn't cry for this, it was funny)

Had went to my malay friend's wedding as well.

The food was better than I expected but not the dessert though.

I have finished packing my bag just like a child preparing for a new school term.

New people and new environment awaiting.

I wrote their names on the footprints they left behind.

Although..

None of them accompany me through.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.

We ended our conversation that day.

I cannot remember when was the previous time he chatted with me so nicely.

We used to end our conversation arguing.

Maybe both of us have matured.

Or maybe it was only that day.

I miss calling him & waiting for his calls.

I miss the time we used to spend chatting on the phone almost everyday, chatting anything under the sun.

He told me about his soccer, his friends, his motorbike, his dog, his family etc.

I told him about my friends, my family, my crushes, my job etc.

I miss the time we used to spend together working part time in the same company after school.

He waited for me to close my counter to eat lunch with him & I waited for him to clear his stuff before lunch.

I told him that one of my colleagues looked cute & he said just so so only.

He asked me to help him with his earrings during lunch cos he didn't know how to do it himself.

He said I was so rough towards him & I ever told him that he was not a bit romantic at all.

We both denied.

We are friends for 10 years this year.

Friends from the start, till now & forever.

Nothing more.

Maybe there was but I gave that up cos I cherished his friendship more than anything else I wanted.

Coz....

He was the only person that I cried to when I have problems with my friends &

He was the only person that scolded me stupid cos I didn't listen to him that the guy I dated was a jerk.

Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing. ~ Elie Wiesel
