There is such a song if you all still remember from The Lion King.

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to be seen than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done

Some say eat or be eaten
Some say live and let live
But all are agreed as they join the stampede
You should never take more than you give

(Chorus)
In the Circle of Life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap of faith
It's the band of hope
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle, the Circle of Life

Some of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars

There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps the great and small on the endless round

(Chorus repeats)

On the path unwinding
In the Circle, the Circle of Life.

Sigh~ That's the work of mother nature. I can still remember what Mufasa said to Simba, he told him about the circle of life, how all living things are connected.

"Lions eat the antelope, but when they die, their bodies become the grass, upon which the antelope eat."

If anyone who watched Pride on Animal Planet today will know what I wanted to say.

NOT every lion eat their prey! Surprised!? I am
! In fact, I'm touched.... very touched...T_T

That lioness who had defied the law of nature was called Kamunyak, which means the blessed one. She protected and followed the baby oryx and they stayed together with each other for almost 16 days without food! Kamunyak didn't eat that oryx instead she behaved like its mother, never let it wander out of her sight.

However, they got weaker and weaker each day, Kamunyak tried to rest whenever she could and the oryx was left wandering around.

SUDDENLY! In just a second the baby oryx was caught by another male lion!!! Kamunyak had no strength to fight him so she just stood there looking at him biting the poor baby oryx helplessly. (SOBS!!!!!) After the male lion took the baby oryx to another place, Kamunyak went to the place where she smelled blood of the oryx like a mother who just lost her cub. (SOBS!!!)

It was a miracle that a lioness took care of her prey and her nature of a mother won over her hunger! Another miracle was the baby oryx was able to survive without mother's milk for so many days. Yet, that stupid male lion ended this miracle! I hate him!!!!!!!!

For your information that Kamunyak was not a vegetarian cos she killed a warthog for food the following day after the baby oryx was killed. Later for the next 1 year, she also tried to adopt another 5 baby oryx calves but 1 died of hunger, some ran away and 1 went back to its mum.

In the end, nobody saw Kamunyak anymore. (SOBS!!!)

Expert said the behaviour of that lioness was similar to human keeping a pet. It might be due to Kamunyak went through traumatising incident in the past but she was still too young to went through the experience of losing her cub.

That film is call "The Heart of the Lioness".

Indeed, she has a nice heart.

That's Kamunyak and the baby oryx she adopted.
