I booked an appointment 2 weeks ago & went today.

Totally disappointed & glad that I didn't sign any package.

Firstly, the place was not easy to find for me.

I called them for direction & due to some communication breakdown I was late for around 20 minutes.

They told me since I was late, everything need to rush...

Throughout the session, I think I had apologized around 4 to 5 times for being late.

Definitely not a good start.

They didn't even appreciate me for searching & rushing over in the rain at all :(

All I felt was they were blaming me for jeopardizing their schedules.

I heard other customers cancelled their appointment.

I didn't cancel..yet not appreciated.

Anyway, I was disappointed when the therapist told me my skin condition is not suitable for Diamond peel.

This is one of the reasons I went but not fulfill.

The therapist was ok & I kinda like the way she explained the steps & things used on my face.

After the facial was the massage.

Rush again.

They never asked me which massage I want. :(

I think they just gave me the cheaper one which is just the body massage as the duration was only 45mins.

I have never experience such a painful massage in my life before.

Throughout the session my eyes were wide open from the pain.

Yes I know I was stupid for not voicing out to her but at that moment I really thought maybe painful is more effective?

I was totally wrong...my body is aching now :(

Lastly came the hard selling part.

The lady was telling me all the bad things about my skin & sounded as if I have the worst skin on earth & she's trying to save me from being the last.

If I'm the last, she'll be 2nd last...her skin was so terrible as well!

Scars & lines all over her face...

Pot calling the kettle black! Not convincing at all ~

When I told her I have no budget to buy any package now..she thoughts of all the possible ways!

3, 6 or 10 sessions...pay in either 12, 24 or 36 months interest free, she emphasized.

In the end each session still cost SGD180!!

I rejected strongly & her attitude changed totally!

Her face was blacker than the charcoal!

When paying, she asked her staff to get me the bag & she wrote Black Lizzy bag on the receipt.

However, when I was on the bus, I saw my bag was actually brown.

Is that staff colour blind?

I was so diappointed because I wanted the black one.

I know I was stupid for not checking but I just wanna get out ASAP & they packed it in a bag making me difficult to check on the spot.

Lastly, I waited a while for the dress which they never even mention.

So, I asked & they told me no more stock.

They even didn't bother to inform me at all!!!

I read back the 4 items in that voucher...SIGH ~~

DISAPPOINTING!

I'm really glad I didn't sign any package if I'm getting that level of service.

No wonder tourists are complaining about Singapore's service standard.

Me as a Singaporean can feel the low standard too!

I rather spend the money at Batam's spa & be treated & served like a queen!

Saw a post from my sis which she posted when she had Kai.

Though her answers & the symptoms are not the same but it seems fun!

Anyway boy or girl doesn't matter as long as he/she is healthy.

Lately, I discovered I would get frustrated & angry easily.

Roaring at whoever stepped on my tail.

Getting impatient with people who are not on the same pace.

Mood swing?

Took a test & realised I have low EQ.

I'm lacking the ability to control my emotions.

I really need to reflect.

Actually wanted to make something for them for Christmas gift but was too busy + tired + lazy, I gave up that thought & spent money on gifts instead.

This Christmas is my first time that I went to a colleague's house to celebrate Christmas.

It was unexpectedly fun & the food was nice!

I was feeling kinda moody today as today is not Friday, it's Thursday.

However, after receiving an email brightened up my day!

I was nominated together with other two colleagues for working relentlessly which resulted in the successful of Win 7 launch in China.

This email was sent internally worldwide!

I was surprised! Will Gates see? haha I doubt...

I received a lot of emails from my colleagues congratulating me.

Happy! ~

My manager also replied the email adding more audiences & bringing attention to my department director although what my manager said are kinda exaggerated. Haha ~

To my surprise, my director sent an email to congrats the winners which he also indicate my name! Woo!

Finally, my hard work is not wasted...but I want increment too!!!!~~~~

However, I'm kinda glad that I received some intangible interest for this month.

Saw this article in a particular forum.

It touched me.

People tends to forget how in love they were to get married.

MARRIAGE

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her

hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate

quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let

her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic

calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me

softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we

didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find

out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a

satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn't love her

anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which

stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my

company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who

had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt

sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take

back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly

in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was

actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me

for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing

something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep

and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just

did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't

want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce.

She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal

a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a

month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked

me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her

out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was

going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her

odd request.

I told Dew about my wife's divorce conditions. She laughed

loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she

has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce

intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the

first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is

holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From

the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten

meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't

tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put

her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove

alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned

on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that

I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she

was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair

was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I

wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of

intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her

life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of

intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became

easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday

workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a

few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my

dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so

thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness

in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry

mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an

essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer

and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I

might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms,

walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her

hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly;

it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I

held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to

school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life

lacked intimacy.

I drove to office... jumped out of the car swiftly without

locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...

I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I

do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do

you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I

said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she

and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love

each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home

on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then

slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove

away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers

for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled

and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

Miss Butterfly is one of the managers in my company.

She is pretty, elegant, capable & has a very good figure.

She's only 3 - 4 years older than me if I'm not wrong.

I'm very tired this week.

I had at least 6 hours of sleep everyday but I'm still tired.

Couldn't focus on the things I was doing & when mistakes made, self-reproaching took place.

Didn't feel like doing anything & feeling restless all the time.

Buddhists believe in Cause & Effect.

What you did in your previous life will determine your destiny in the next.

If you were an evil man in your previous life, you have to pay for it by suffering in this life.

If you were a Samaritan in previous life, you will be rewarded maybe by being born in a good family & well liked by everyone in this life.

Personally, I think it is not justice.

Why do we have pay in this life for what we don't even have a clue on the evil deeds done during previous life?

Why don't we get rewarded on something we did good in this life?

So if my life is poor & miserable but I'm a Samaritan, I couldn't enjoy my reward & will remain poor & miserable in this life.

Doesn't make sense right?

It's like when you strike lottery but can only get the money when you die.

Met an old friend for dinner whom I didn't see for years.

My pure motive was just catching up but part of his motive is to make me accompany him for shopping.

I told him he had chose a wrong companion.

I'm not a good shopping companion.

Most importantly, I hardly shop with guys.

Know each other for 11 years, we mentioned this for more than once today.

But I feel that I do not know him enough.

People changed.

People's lifestyle become different too.

He has LV wallet, Armani watch, wear Zara Shirt, shop in Raoul, Pedro...

Just came home after watching the movie "Orphan".

Except the good acting skills & the final twist, the rest was really not fantastic.

With the overused of tense music & false alarms, the movie was tormenting.

In that movie, I thought the distrust between the couple somehow triggered the tragedy.

When a couple lost the trust between them, everything seems like a lie or "just you over reacting".

Having a paranoid relationship normally will lead to pain & suffering only.

You can destroy trust overnight but it requires years to build it back.

Learned a new phrase from Karen today.

Indeed, some people have short love span & some have long love span.

I hope majority is the latter.

Nevertheless, speaking from an inexperience me, I think in the end it still takes two to maintain & determine the length of your love.

Act within my own consciousness & remain faithful to my love one are part of my relationship guidelines.

Maintaining a relationship is easier to say than done.

Coz our heart always act faster than our brain huh.

Gotten 2 days MC from doctor.

Spent another sum of money seeing doctor.

The money that my company gave for my medical is really not enough to cover my dental + medical cost.

I'm not complaining..I'm really not.

However, with the money I've spent... I bought myself two days.

I always think we, human always like to buy more time for ourselves using money.

Yes, time can be bought with money.

Not the time that we already used though.

Like how we always spend more money on express bus/train to buy that extra time we saved.

But did we fully utilize that extra time to make it worthwhile?

My Dentist Day had finally arrived.

My dentist is so popular that I always have to wait months for him to see me.

Seeing him this time I knew my wallet will bleed.

Indeed but more than I had expected!

He scolded me that I had ate too many sweets, causing the decays.

Not one, but three decays all on my molar teeth.

My bill before discount: $385
My bill after discount : $300

Almost fainted.

After my expensive dental fee, I went shopping alone.

With all the tempting sales going on, I controlled myself extremely well & decided to go somewhere free to spend my time there before my class starts!

I went to the National Library & I simply love library!

Without spending unnecessary money, I got myself three interesting books. ^^

After my class, as per planned, I headed towards to my beautician's house for my monthly facial.

I just couldn't save my money on that!

When did Casey become such a spendthrift?

Timing in Life

I met Lady A just after I came out from the washroom after work.

We were so happy to see each other that we forgot to press the lift.

We chatted along the way to the bus-stop.

She met Lady B at the bus stop, who I didn't know.

Lady A said hi to Lady B.

After a while, Lady A saw her bus coming, bidded farewell to us & boarded the bus.

Lady B turned to me & started a conversation with me.

Voila!

I made a new friend.

If I had left the washroom one minute later or if we didn't miss the lift...

There would not have any Lady B.

Fate is such a mystery.

Every minutes & every seconds counts...

As if they are pre-planned.

I can still remember there were many such encounters between us but were neglected.

The seat, the lift, the bus-stop, the food courts & the back entrance.

I found the first lyrics that I ever wrote for Yida's competition but I didn't find it good enough to enter so I never send it in the end.

However, at that time & even till now, I still couldn't think of a song title for it.

Work From Home Day

In order to get prepared for the H1N1 outburst, I was one of the candidates to work from home & feedback the problems encountered.

Sounds good huh?

Not that good actually.

Working from home will tend to make you slack...

I overslept.

The weather was so hot that your laptop felt hot too & would tend to move your focus to the fridge.

I couldn't remember how many times I had opened my fridge today.

When that happened... tendency of getting fat is very high.

Adding in my mum's nagging, the noise of vacuum cleaner, TV , drilling work from somewhere etc & my mum & brother kept coming in to my room, how can I concentrate to work?

I thought I could slack a bit in between emails today but customers chose to add on my workload today, not yesterday & not tomorrow.

However, during my official lunch time which I already had my lunch earlier while working, I got to play with my doggies & that is one of the pros I can think of.

Maybe another pros is I can work in my sleeping attire.. so comfy wooo hooo

Ok.. the last pros I can think of is I can knock off immediately... to go gym to burn the calories I gathered today.

Japan ~ My Dream

Day 0:

My dream trip to Japan felt so unreal even on the day itself.

We took the A380 air bus & it was quite comfy.
I wasn't able to make any comparison as I had forgotten how the old air bus was like.

But...where was my after-meal dessert, ice-cream?
SIA cut cost?!!

We took the night flight & I had to rush home immediately after work... it was tiring.

But we were still able to smile happily. ^^

Took a short nap after watching the "Slumdog Millionaire" & we were woken up at around 5am (Singapore time) to have breakfast! That was real early!

However, I was glad I woke up, if not I would have miss the most beautiful sunrise ever.

Day 1:

I took my first step to practise my Japanese & it was when I was confirming with another passenger about the destination of the train we were taking. He understood what I said!
It was such a morale booster!

On the way searching for our hotel, I went to the police for help & again he understood what I was asking & gladly I could understand what he explained too!

I never felt so glad that all my my effort paid off!

After checking in the hotel, we set off to Ikebukuro.

Oh my! I felt a bit regret that I should have chosen the Ikebukuro branch of my hotel.

The guys there were so....... CUTE!!! *drooling*

We met a friendly uncle & his cute doggie while we were walking along the Ikebukuro street. His dog was so cute that made us went over to chat with him. It was because of that rain that we bidded sayonara to them.

Our best meal of that day was the "unexpected finding" of a small soba/udon shop.
The meal wasn't expensive & the shop did not have any high class decoration but it was comfortable & its soba/udon was so unforgettably delicious!

Day 2:

The area that we stayed at was very interesting though two of my friends were so scared.
We stayed at Shinjuku but it was near the red light district.
Don't miss understood, it wasn't the ladies who were servicing the men....

It was a street where the men service the lonely ladies so I felt it was ok as there wasn't any weird uncles around that area.

Those patronizing the men are lonely ladies so it wasn't that scary at all & the men there were "beautiful", as if they had just popped out from anime!

However, away from the red light district, on the other side of Shinjuku was the busy shopping district & one of Tokyo's busiest train station.

Look out for the Matcha Ice-cream shop at the train station. It was yummy! I love it!

I love matcha!

We met another friendly uncle who was laughing at us when we were busy taking photos in the train.
Hence, we asked him to join us & he agreed immediately!
He looked so cute with the peace sign. LOL

At Roppongi, we came across a pet shop & it was many many times better than Singapore ones.

Obviously the animals there were cuter & instead of lying on the mash metal plate, the animals were lying on the comfy mat.

Japan is such a dog friendly country!
The dogs are allowed to board the train, allowed to walk on the streets with no one screaming out loud when they saw them & the best thing is they are allowed to go shopping in shopping mall with their owners!!!

Singapore?! Sighz ~ Forget it!

On our way to Roppongi Hill, we met a Japanese man, carrying a baby & leashing a Shiba Inu!!
Shiba Inu!!! It was so cute!

The man was so friendly as we approached him if we could pat his dog.

A good Japanese husband waiting for his beautiful ex_SIA's stewardess wife, who was busy buying something.

Karen was impressed & fell in love with Roppongi.

Roppongi was really classy. ^^

Day 3:

On a Sunday morning, every guidebook will tell you to head straight to Harajuku.

We did.

I love Harajuku's train station.

No chance to cosplay but it was my first time seeing people cosplaying.
Though not what I was expecting but at least better than nothing.

They were gathering there & tourists were taking pictures of them as if they were some exhibits but some didn't mind though some rejected photo taking.

We went to the wrong direction & couldn't find Meiji-Jingu.
We saw some obasans & we went forward to ask for direction.
Amusingly, they were lost & were looking for Meiji-Jingu too!
At Meiji-Jingu, we were lucky to be able to witness three wedding couples having their traditional ceremony there.
Their traditional wedding ceremony was so quiet & we were not used to it but it was such an eye-opening event.

At Harajuku, the snacks that must not missed there is their CREPES!!
Delicious!

There were plenty of stores selling crepes in Harajuku & we decided to try this store.

We spotted a shop selling pets' accessories.
Big sized dog costumes can be easily found in Japan & all the designs are soooooo cute!
I have never seen a dog's costume for big dogs selling here in Singapore. *sad*
How I wish my Happie is willing to wear this bumble bee costume.

A nice ramen shop we discovered at Shibuya & we saw they have another branch at Shinjuku too.
All the ramen they sell over there were not cheap but seems kinda popular as we could find signatures all over their walls.

Worth the try, you won't regret.

Day 4:

Getting out of the city life, we were heading towards Hakone, with the hope to see Fuji-san if we have the fate.
The cute train captain was so shy to take the photo with us. Hee hee.

Fuji-san!! My first sight of her was inside the cable car & it was spectacular!!
I couldn't control my excitement at all!
She was soooo beautiful ^0^
I wanna reach that summit one day.

On our way to our hotel, we spotted a small shop selling ice-cream.
We were so excited that we found something so nice!
The black sesame ice-cream was really yummy!
I miss it so much!
They even have the sakura flavor but too bad it was out-of-stock.

Our first time sleeping in a Japanese tatami room.
Though at first the room reminded me of Sadako but during the night I was too exhausted to remember anything.
Nothing could wake me up anyway & who cares about Sadako!
If she happens to disturb my beauty sleep, I'll be the one who's cursing her.

We went to the Gotemba Premium Outlet & on our way there, we met a very cool guy.
I talked to him! haha asking for direction only but it was enough.
He was cool but we saw him smoking ... It's bad for health, Mr Cool Guy!

Gotemba was not really for me cos it's a place with all the expensive stuffs but I was glad I went as the view of Fuji-san was breathtaking over there.
However, our fate with Fuji-san was not that strong as the weather was kinda foggy.

We held a meeting for about 30 minutes on how we should shower & jump into the hotspring with minimal awkwardness.

The hot spring experience was funny but it was fun & unforgettable.
Nobody had expected the hot spring to be that hot!

Day 5:

After a good night sleep on the futon, we headed to the dining room for breakfast.
On my way to the dining room, we passed by the main door & I was walking last, I happened to notice the main door was moving slighly with no one around. Out of curiousity, I went over, wanting to close it completely, suddenly the door was opened by a guy.
I was startled but he looked at me & my friends strangely & started to tell us that he had seen us before.
Unbelievably that we had stayed at the same hotels, both at Toyko & Hakone!
To be staying at the same hotels at two areas & at the same time, I guessed it does not happen easily since there are so many hotels in Tokyo & Hakone!
He came to Japan with his mum from Taiwan & we decided to travel together for that day.
I still wonder if that door didn't move that morning....

With him around, taking group photos were so much easier.
However I felt so awkward around him as my friends were pushing me to him! Sighz~

went to the shrine & saw the torii...
& went to the sulfuric spring to eat the famous black eggs which could extend your life for 7 years per egg....

Day 6:

The day I was waiting for!
We managed to get the tickets at 200 yen cheaper each! Wooo hooo!
I felt like a child again. The money spent on the ticket was worth it ^^
I love Disneyland!

It looked like a kid's meal but it was yummy!

We were lucky to get a very nice spot for the parade!

Went crazy waving at the performers. They were so close.

Had one of the Disney staff to take photos with us when we were about to head back to hotel.
Why is my face so red? I can't remember why I was laughing so hard.

Day 7:

Our tedious day.
The day we had to move hotel from Shinjuku to Ueno.
It was a tough journey with additional luggages from our busy shopping trips.

Along the street of Yanaka, we spotted an elementary school.
In that school, there was this little boy that caught our attention.
He was gorgeous!

Honestly, I think photo doesn't do any justice to him.
He was many times more cuter in real person!

I love their school bags & I heard it cost about SGD300+++ for one of that.

ho ho ho! It was the Best Fortune!
I wonder when will it be realized.
It has been weeks since I came back from Japan..hmmmm...

Day 8:

Random photo at one of the cafe which we decided to condemn it.
It sucks! Both service & menu sucks!

Odaiba was beautiful.
Will people mistook that we went to New York?

It sure look like we were at New york huh.

Day 9:

Last full day to enjoy.
Sad to leave Japan but have to.

We went to Akihabara & I was expecting to see only otakus there but I could only find a few otakus. To my surprised, I saw some cute guys in the figuring shops! They didn't look like otakus at all.

My dinner that night was bought from the convenience shop.
I didn't expect too much from it, just wanna try it out.
Unexpectedly, it was delicious!

Day 10:

Time to say goodbye... but
I'll be back Japan!

Had a bad day today.

I did my income tax e-filing smoothly with NO single hiccup.

I'm not oblige to help anyone.. if I help out, it's only out of goodwill.

I didn't approach anyone to help me, did I?

But in return, no appreciation yet I gotten reprimanded for filing last minute.

I wonder did they see me sleeping with my laptop doing my work halfway these few days...

How stressful was I these few days with my work..will they ever know?

Who cares if I die or not as long as they can survive.

One changed his password on his own & didn't inform me at all...causing the account being locked by the system. - My fault.

The other one didn't provide me the password which he already went into his account to look look only. So I guess he figured out that password is required to log in then why didn't he provide it to me? - My fault.

One scolded me for saying he provided me to school & I couldn't even accomplish such a simple task.
I told him, excuse me..I paid for my own allowance & school fees, he kept quiet.

The other one said if he has his insurance info, he won't beg me to do it. He went in to look already & if he really is sincere in doing it, he would have know that he doesn't need the insurance info if his CPF contribution is more than 5k.

All my fault.

I should have mind my own business.

I've learnt my lesson.

I care if I die or not, even if no one else cares.

The day before the Morale Event, I told my colleague that I shall bring my camera tomorrow.

I forgot all about it the next day.

I told her that no slipper allowed as we will be playing ice-breaking games.

I forgot about it too.

How serious my memory is failing.

On that day, we played a few ice-breaking games which we thought they were rather stressful! LOL

It had been a busy month for me.

Busy working, studying, playing & preparing my brother's wedding.

Working life has becoming tiring for me..with the non stop emails flowing in & all the never-ending work to do.....

I'm seriously tired.

I went to watch 2 concerts within 2 months.

1st one was Lu Guang Zhong....

Finally, my itinerary for my Japan trip is half done.

I didn't know planning a 10 days 9 nights trip required a lot of thinking like the travel route, accessibility of hotel to train stations, which area to stay for which day etc.

However, it was really fun to plan for my own trip!

Side-tracking....

Yesterday I had bought some books.

One of them is "Marley".

I didn't watch the movie and have not read the book yet but I guess it will be a sad dog story.

Gotta cry again *sobs

Doesn't Marley & my Lucky look alike?

Maybe there's a slight difference.

Marley is fairer cos Marley is a Caucasian & Lucky is an asian, thus he's more tanned.

Another two books I bought are to hope that I will be able to improve & correct my English grammar mistakes that I have been making all my life.

Long Time No See

I was feeling tired and have been sick for almost one week so didn't do any update recently.

My cough is getting worse each day yet I refused to visit the doctor.

Stubborn me.

Since the shift in job scope around end Dec, I feel so tired after work everyday coz the new job scope is more complicated & is stressing my brain.

Argggh...Enough of the complaints!!!

Here's a quick update of my life in the beginning of 2009.

On 4th Jan, I went to see MayDay's concert.
The queue was soooo long & luckily we went there to queue early.

Last Monday I went to attend my friend's wedding at Sentosa.

I had a hard time finding the hotel & the staff at Sentosa were not professional enough to help me!

One of them showed me the wrong direction, causing me to walk a long way on heels!

Anyway, it was really nice to see my friend so happy on her big day.

Yesterday, we went for our first picnic at Singapore Botanic Garden.

I can still remember my dad used to bring us there often when we were young.

When I went back yesterday, the place was so different.

However, I can still remember the swan lake where there used to have a lot of swans.

Our food. They were all yummy!

We decided to have another one next time.

Today, Me & Karen went to queue up for our first May Day Concert's ticket!

After we got the tickets, we went for our lunch & after our lunch we saw the queue was still so long!!!

An Ironic Day

Had met up with Simmies for sushi buffet.

It was considered cheap by comparing $2.29 per plate for ala carte menu.

I didn't take my dinner last night so that meal was considered as my last night's dinner, today's breakfast & lunch. Three meals taken together. Hee hee.

Anyway, after the bloated buffet, we went to shop around for X'mas presents.

It was very crowded in the mall, as usual for a Saturday.

Around evening, I headed towards ...... gym to burn the calories gained during the sushi buffet.

Haha... crazy huh?! My brother thought so too when I told him.

It was nice that the gym wasn't crowded on a Saturday evening & I even had the sauna room all by myself.

Temperature was 90 Degree Celsius. Almost cooked me but it was really great.

After the great workout, I went for a short shopping session alone.

Actually, shopping alone has its pros too & I kinda like it.

No doubt that I'm a lone ranger.

After doing some shopping, I headed to meet my family........ for dinner.

Haha.... A wasted gym session, I know.

But I managed to spot a cute Caucasian & a few hunks in the gym so consider not wasted right?

Long Weekend

Today is Singapore's public holiday.

Gonna start work tomorrow but I didn't rest enough during this long weekend.

Instead my weekend was quite busy.

I was busy with friends whom I didn't catch up for quite some time, once-a-month facial, went to gym, spent time with my family & dogs, PSP-ing & most importantly, catching up with my beauty sleep.

Tomorrow will be a long day for me cos I know what's waiting for me. The to-do list is sooooo long that i tried not to think about it when I was trying to enjoy my long weekend.

Anyway, four more days to Saturday. Hee hee... I love weekend!

The good news is that there will be quite a few public holiday that fall on Monday in 2009!

We ended our conversation that day.

I cannot remember when was the previous time he chatted with me so nicely.

We used to end our conversation arguing.

Maybe both of us have matured.

Or maybe it was only that day.

I miss calling him & waiting for his calls.

I miss the time we used to spend chatting on the phone almost everyday, chatting anything under the sun.

He told me about his soccer, his friends, his motorbike, his dog, his family etc.

I told him about my friends, my family, my crushes, my job etc.

I miss the time we used to spend together working part time in the same company after school.

He waited for me to close my counter to eat lunch with him & I waited for him to clear his stuff before lunch.

I told him that one of my colleagues looked cute & he said just so so only.

He asked me to help him with his earrings during lunch cos he didn't know how to do it himself.

He said I was so rough towards him & I ever told him that he was not a bit romantic at all.

We both denied.

We are friends for 10 years this year.

I love to look at the moon & stars while walking Happie as it always give me a very wonderful feeling.

I don't think many people (maybe in Singapore) care & bother to admire the lovely night sky.

Anyway, I was walking Happie yesterday & happened to see how nice the moon was so I decided to take a picture of it.

The picture turned out nicer than I expected & glad that Happie was quietly sitting down waiting for me to take this picture.

Saw the star beside the moon?

I saw it today again after my class while walking to the bus stop & my classmate said it was not a star, it was the satellite.

Hmmm....

It looks like a star to me.

I wonder will my sis be able to see the star/satellite in US & my bro be able to see that too in China....

It's so amazing that though we are all far apart but we are still seeing the same moon every night.

Last day of Work & A new start seeking for my career

Today is my last day of work.

Hate to leave my nice & lovely colleagues.

Couldn't find any better colleagues in other companies like them at the moment.

No politics, no selfishness & standing on the same side against boss. Haha...

Most of all I feel so bad towards my senior, didn't really wanna leave her almost alone in the battle.

However, I know clearly that I HAVE to leave.

Last minute cleared all my rubbish & packed my stuffs.

Looking at my clean table... suddenly I feel kinda lonely & had the thought of staying on which the feeling I couldn't really explain.

It's like..the place is so familiar to me which feel like my second home yet sometimes hate to go & when realised I won't be coming back..it's kinda sad.

Definitely I'm gonna miss my table, my work, my colleagues & my boss.

Leaving behind all the stress & bad memories, I felt so light yet so empty.

30th June, a very amazing day.

So many things happened today!

One of my colleagues who I always like to chat with left the company today.

I got to know a new friend who loves dog as much as I do & he lives very very near me!

I chatted for very long on the phone with a supplier who I barely know & he gave me a lot of his personal advices.

I finally chatted with another supplier who I see almost everyday for the past 5 months plus but never talk a single word before.

A guy who used to go to the same religious place as me popped up in front of me & asked if I still remember him! I didn't know he is one of my supplier too! So coincidence!

Added a new friend into my MSN list. She is my supplier too!

Chatted with one of my old school mates who I didn't chat with for very long & he threw one big bomb at me to share his happiness.

Chatted with a friend & just when I was so disappointed with his tactless remarks,

he said the final sentence to make everything sound..........

sweet.

However, I can no longer judge how true it is anymore.

Suddenly, I realised my world is revolving so much around the people at my work.

I thought for more than half an hour & came up with these:

Wednesday: Met up with the Simmies Awesomefive short of one. I was tired after a busy day at work but I Miss them soooo much & we had so much so much to catch up with one another.

Thursday: Slept at 3am the previous night & I totally forgot that I had to study for my Japanese test! Anyway, my last minute study did help a little. Totally K.O. on my way back home on the bus after my Japanese class.

Friday: Knitting class & after that met up with my buddies for a drink & had a long chat with them in a quiet park till 2am! We hardly do that after we all started working & really happy to have them around when I needed them the most.

Saturday: Woke up around 9.30am & went for my all time favourite ~ KTV! Sang straight for 6-1/2hrs! ^^
On the train back home, I suddenly miss Kai Kai.
I miss hugging him, miss his smell, his cries & his singing.... have to endure for another four more days.

Sunday: My buddy's birthday! Will be going out tomorrow to celebrate with her. ^^

I admit I'm a soft hearted person.

People used my weakness to take advantage of me sometimes.

But today my senior pleaded me to reconsider to stay...

I believe my indecisiveness is because I have thinking cells aplenty.

I was told by many people that I always think too much.

I realised that.

Always worrying about consequences of things that have not even happen.

I aways make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Over rational sometimes.

In relationship, my friends often tell me to lower my expectations.

However, I really do not know when did I start to choose the man to be with rationally.

By check listing on looks, prospects, personalities etc.

My heart's expectation is actually very simple, as long as I feel happy with him...

but my mind always eventually suppressed the heart's will.

My colleague told our new colleague...

" Got problem, you can look for Casey, she's a kind girl............."

Being kind only ended up getting more workloads.

I decided not to be so kind so I talked harshly to my storeman today saying that he was being unhelpful for not helping me when I requested his help earlier.

He then said, "Ok, I'm free now, just let me know what do you want."

Did he sense that I was being harsh???

Am I harsh enough?

Or is it by being harsh, people will tends to help you more?

I'm confused.

I wanna get out of the tiny circle i'm cooping in for so long!

I'm still the same old me, the same one 10 years ago.....

It only means there's no progress & no improvement made.

I hate that!

How can I learn to be tougher, be firmer & be more confident?

Frustrated!!!

Where is the sense of achievement I'm yearning for?

I'm quite busy with Paulo Coelho ~ (Time for reading),

I'm very busy playing with my PSP ~ (Time for Tales of the World),

I'm also busy crochetting my booties ~ (Time for Crochetting),

I'm always busy revising my Japanese ~ (Nihongo no jikan),

I'm kinda busy with my Korean Drama ~ (Time for Behind the white tower),

I'm definitely very busy with my Japanese Dramas ~ (Time for Absolute Boyfriend / Last Friends!) ,

I'm also seems to be busy listening to his songs ~ (Relaxing time),

I like his soothing voice ~ & .....

Now time to be busy with my beauty sleep! ^.^

I hardly wake up before 9am on Sunday.

Last Sunday, I woke up at 6.30am.

Unbelievable huh...

I woke up to join Karen, her parents & many others to Upper Peirce reservoir for a slow morning walk.
